About Wondergood Food

Since well before this blog was launched, I’ve been obsessed with food. Some of my most exciting experiences have been culinary amazingness and I hope to impart some of that excitement to all the readers. From homemade recipes, to restaurant reviews, to enlightening discoveries of new products, we’re going to get into some sh*t. Currently eating my way through Dallas, I’m the creator of 2 native Texans and married to a smoking hot woman. Get ready to be hungry.

Dot’s Hop House and Cocktail Courtyard – Bar of your dreams

It’s a rare occasion to watch a labor of love come to fruition, especially when you’re on the outside, watching someone else’s dream come true. But that’s what I’ve been able to do, watching Jeff Brightwell’s journey to successfully open Dot’s Hop House and Cocktail Courtyard, in Deep Ellum.

Lemon Thyme Lamb Chops with Paleo Cauliflower Mash

Lamb thyme paleo cauliflower mash_final

This might be one of the easiest meals I’ve made in a long time where the end result tastes like it took hours to prepare. For real, this whole thing, the main and the side, under 10 ingredients and took less than hour to create.

It fits the Paleo and Whole30 lifestyle but doesn’t sacrifice taste. In fact, when people try this, who don’t normally eat this type of meal (my parents), you get that, “OK, I see you fam” glance. It feels nice.
